Senior Research Analyst

The Role

This role will support and help shape Seven League’s service to clients. As the leading global digital sports agency and consultancy, we need a Senior Research Analyst to work on data insight reports for clients, to mentor Research Analysts in their daily work, challenge and help shape our methodologies in how we do insights reporting, and support our Consulting team in setting out and delivering to our clients their own data-led digital roadmap.

Job Description

- Analysis of data from multiple web analytics sources, e.g. Google Analytics, Facebook Insight, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Analytics

- Audience and market research

- User experience research/ testing

- Liaising with a content-creation network of users or freelancers

- Social media management, content generation and publishing, content planning and evaluation

- KPI tracking and helping to shape KPIs

- Resource planning, project management and milestone tracking

- Online and offline marketing (including basic SEO of content)

- Assisting in business development processes, including research, analysis, funnel management and pitching

- Ability to manage clients day-to-day

- Ability to manage campaigns for a major client, with minimal supervision from senior colleagues

- Ability to challenge and change our approach to data analytics and how we measure performance


  • Experience in Excel and other data-reporting templates and products is required

  • Experience of all social media platforms – front-end and back-end

  • Experience of Google Analytics

  • Previous experience of working with, and on, digital including back-end analytics dashboards

  • Passion for digital and sports

  • Digital data-led analytics understanding, a passion for digital, and good all-round knowledge of sports
