US Sports Senior Account Manager (China)

The Role

Your role will be as Senior Account Manager working within Team USA. It is your job to drive the overall account performance of Mailman’s US sports clients in the China market. You will be responsible for leading a team for the deliverables up to 5x accounts for content, account and team management across the brand’s official digital channels.

Job Description

  • Strict and detail-focused management, overseeing daily work to ensure best performance, mitigate any problems, listen and talk with team members to support where needed

  • Setup account team structure, for regular work processes, meetings and activities to maximize productivity and individual and team performance

  • Providing leadership for the execution of account deliverables, ensure account performance meets the KPIs set by the team and client

  • Lead an account team for the entire creative, developmental and executional process of account, brand building initiatives and consumer-centric concepts for the client

  • Responsible for the development and execution of seasonal planning, key campaign proposals & initiatives

  • Conduct monthly KPI reviews with team members and make sure they are accountable

  • Maintain the accessible communication process, spend time for one-on-one catch-ups with members

  • Assist in identifying and addressing training, leadership and career development needs and opportunities within the junior team

  • Manage the team to produce insightful reports on regular basis for clients, communicate updates and status reports to Account Director as to the overall performance


  • Native Chinese language speaker with excellent English language skills

  • Min. 5 years of Chinese marketing and advertising experience

  • Min. 3 years of global brand account management experience

  • Passion for US Sports, brands and culture

  • Advanced knowledge of the Chinese digital media landscape

  • Direct experience in Chinese content development, promotion and execution of social campaigns

  • Excellent planning, presentation and people management skills

  • Professional discipline, assertiveness, responsiveness and great attention to detail

  • Native Chinese language speaker with excellent Chinese and English reading & writing skills

  • Experience managing a team, excellent organization, planning, and people skills

  • Accountability for project requirements: make a decision and own it
