Job Description

Summary.

The role of the ‘Endorsement Agent’ is to drive active conversations throughout Mainland China with brands open to exploring commercial partnerships with International sporting organizations and personalities.  This role requires a high level of proactively, creativity, and diligence with a highly personable approach.

Key Responsibilities.

Using phone, email and face-to-face visits create discussions towards closing commercial deals with our sports clients

Manage and grow an active database of Chinese brands, advertising agencies, private equity firms and investment banks to pitch commercial opportunities for and on behalf of our clients.

Negotiate, manage and successfully ensure deals are managed with minimal problems, ensure transparency.

Produce a weekly summary report of updates related to our clients to be shared with clients.

Produce a management report weekly to update management on progress, meetings attended, briefs received, follow up required, client feedback needed and general support.

Skills Required.

ü  Excellent English and Chinese communication skills in verbal, writing and presentation.

ü  Ability to invest in personal learning and development towards becoming a thought leader within the sports endorsement and licensing industry

ü  Attention to detail, contract reviewing and clear contract management with multiple parties both Chinese and International.

ü  An interest in sport (which helps you enjoy your work greater)

Experience Required.

ü  Demonstrated a clear history of relationship building at high level decision makers within China

ü  A minimum of 3 years high-level brand sales experience within Mainland China

ü  Demonstration of high performance sales success (proven record in closing deals)

ü  A credible network or brand relationships within Mainland China

ü  A great understanding of industry knowledge, awareness of our clients progress and China branding related industry news

Remuneration & Commission.

Disclosed only to interested people applying for role.  Very attractive salary and commission.

Measures of Success

  1. Secure a monthly client brief / enquiry of 2 per month

  2. Complete a minimum of 2 commercial deals in a 6-month period (4 over the year)

What is provided?

You will receive regular training, industry wrap up review meetings and on going support from management.  Mailman provides all ‘up to date’ sales materials, client pitch decks and meeting support.  It is expected you keep a company-managed client database platform up to date and ensure positive communication with wider endorsement team.  We have design team ready to support on pitch decks preparation and management support on strategy, creative and sales.
