JOBS: Product Manager + Hot Startup

We’re Shopilist, a startup backed by Mailman in Shanghai committed to transforming the way tourists plan their shopping. We have an opportunity for an experienced product manager to join our team and become a key member of our team.

We believe the way shopping is done when abroad is old, misguided and more often unfulfilled. We’re building a product to change that. By tapping into local insights in city’s all over the world we unlock the secrets to a city’s best shopping – by the people that know.

Why we need you?

We want to build the best product possible. Our team is a mix of developers, marketers and creative folks, we need a lead product person to drive the interaction between dev and design. Your role is to drive the product testing, agile thinking, UX direction and communication with teams.

So what’s your role?

It’s your job to make our mission a reality. By understanding our customers wants, desires and how all of this can be solved with Shopilist –we want to make the process of planning your shopping fun and memorable.

The details of your job are here:

1. Map out user journeys and identify problems we can solve

2. Wire framing & prototyping

3. Research and analysis for industry behaviours

4. Assumption testing on features and approach

5. Clarity on product goals, communication of goals with wider team

6. Creating rapid prototyping

7. Using agile methodologies, lean principles

You gotta have experience

1. Love to get things done

2. Familiar with sketch, high fidelity mock ups

3. Inspired by big challenges

4. Minimum of 5 years building, designing and creating for the future

5. Understand modern start up principles (lean, agile, scrum, rapid)

6. Love working with cutting edge technology
