Transition China is back on April 12th at the Langham Xintiandi to celebrate Shanghai’s ground breaking entrepreneurs.
Sponsored by leading entrepreneurs group EO Shanghai and supported by That’s Shanghai and Touch Media, the event will host 10 remarkable speakers with a unique story to tell. Each of the entrepreneurs and business leaders selected for Transition China, or T13, will have played a key role in shaping the city of Shanghai as we live it today, touching on various industries: F&B, entertainment, technology, retail and more.
These Shanghai personalities will share their incredible journeys to success with an audience of 300 guests and demonstrate the challenges all entrepreneurs and business pioneers have to tackle when taking on China. Some of the names confirmed for this year are: Alistair Paton CEO and co-founder of M1NT – the first and fastest growing shareholders club concept in Asia, a venue that revolutionized the clubbing scene in Shanghai.
Frank Rasche Managing Partner of Element Fresh – one of the pioneers in the city’s meteoric culinary expansion.
Micheal Luévano Executive Director of JUSS Events – the company responsible for bringing World-class events such as the Tennis Masters Cup and the F1 Grand Prix to Shanghai.
Mathieu Brauer CEO of VOL Group – which manages iconic venues in the city such as Bar Rouge and Mr&Mrs Bund, and the innovative Ultraviolet restaurant, unique in it’s genre.
Harry Hui Managing Partner of ClearVue partners – a firm focusing on investment opportunities with consumer and media sector companies in greater China.
Paul Chen
General Manager Rovio Entertainment (China) – the company that launched Angry Birds, the most popular app of 2012.
T13 aims to replicate last year’s success and create an even bigger opportunity for Shanghai’s business community to understand the true nature of launching a company in China. An opportunity to connect, reenergize and be part of the next generation of ground breaking professionals.
Transition China is a non for profit experience conceptualized and produced by Mailman Group with the support of the Entrepreneurs Organization, Shanghai Chapter.
This year, T13 is set to deliver another ‘life changing‘ experience for all guests.
