AS Monaco appoints Seven League to drive global digital strategy

AS Monaco, reigning Ligue 1 champions and one of Europe's most iconic football clubs, has appointed Seven League to drive its global digital strategy.

Seven League, Europe’s leading digital sports agency, will initially conduct a performance review. Then 7L will help the club to build a digital strategy that enables it to reach and engage a global fanbase.

Vadim Vasilyev, AS Monaco CEO, said: "We are looking forward to collaborating with Seven League, which established itself as one of the most efficient digital sports agencies in Europe.

"Since the beginning of our project, we have been working hard to bring our digital communication media to a high level. Today we think that we need to move forward. It is important for us to place innovation first in our engagement and we believe that Seven League will allow us to do so while keeping growing."

Richard Ayers, CEO of Seven League, said: "I am delighted that AS Monaco has placed their faith in us for this exciting phase of their digital journey, adding yet another leading European club to Seven League's list of global clients. We look forward to using our vast experience in auditing, benchmarking, strategy and innovation to help this world-renowned club grow its audience and its revenue."

Based in the Principality of Monaco since 1919, AS Monaco is one of the oldest clubs to take part in French professional football. The club won its eighth Ligue 1 title in 2016/17, with a squad that included a new generation of players from the club's La Turbie academy.

Seven League was founded in 2012 and works on digital strategy and implementation for, among many others, the NBA, UEFA, Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Newcastle United, Leicester City, England Netball, the R&A, and Great British Racing.
