Seven League Announces the Renewal of the Collaboration with the World Boxing Super Series

Seven League is delighted to announce that it will continue supporting The World Boxing Super Series, an agreement which will see our award-winning consultancy taking on digital strategy and social media management for the most exciting new competition in world boxing.

Organised by Comosa AG, the first series of The World Boxing Super Series saw 16 elite fighters (8 in the super-middleweight division and 8 in the cruiserweight), putting pride, as well as titles on the line for a share of the $50 million grand prize, and the Muhammed Ali Trophy.

The first edition of WBSS’s revolutionary tournament format captured the public imagination, and the hype around the tournament continues to grow.  The upcoming season will be even more exciting, with the number of leading fighters increasing from 16 to 24, and an exciting line-up of Bantamweight, Super-Lightweight and Cruiserweight divisions. This time 24 leading fighters among the best in the world will be competing for the Muhammad Ali Trophy promising exciting action in each of the 15 events: six double header quarter-final events, six semi-finals and three finals. Digital support will be a critical element as WBSS seeks to build on its early successes, and we are excited to be a part of their plans.

To date, we have provided a range of digital services including:

- social media management - content strategy - planning and delivery - consultation on third-party platforms - paid campaign planning - budgeting and target-setting - social media audience capturing and email marketing - regular reporting and event/campaign performance reviews

This isn’t Seven League’s first foray into the world of combat sports: our association with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ran for three years, when we were tasked with engaging their under-developed EMEA audiences.

Now we are excited to be working on a new, global event, the likes of which could revolutionise the sport of boxing.

Seven League Founder and CEO Richard Ayers said: "I'm delighted Comosa want to continue with our services. Working with sports to deliver increased revenues and bigger, more engaged audiences is what we live for - so the chance to continue promoting boxing and the iconic Ali Trophy is fantastic."

Comosa AG management said:” We are happy to continue working with Seven League in order to enhance our social media activities, increase fan engagement and reach our growing audiences more closely via our branded platforms”.
