Seven League shortlisted for Agency of the Year by BTSIA

Seven League is proud to be shortlisted for Agency of the Year in the BT Sport Industry Awards 2018.

The BT Sport Industry Awards (BTSIA) is the largest commercial sports awards in the world and has a repuation for highlighting excellence in sport, judged by more than 80 industry experts.

BTSIA told us: "After a rigorous judging process your submission was carefully selected from an exceptionally high standard and number of entries, and to earn a place on the Official Shortlist represents a brilliant achievement."

For the Agency of The Year category, judges assessed entries on both the quality of the business (including financial performance and growth, client retention and acquisition, staff development and recruitment), and the quality of work (including creativity, strategy, planning and implementation, evidence of how it helps move the sports industry forward and the level to which work stood out from competitors.)

This recognition of our work follows a break-out year for us at Seven League in 2017, when we also turned five-years-old (which we celebrated just last night with a pub quiz for our friends and clients).

Few agencies can claim to have worked with 52 of UEFA’s 55 national football associations, to manage social media content in six languages across six markets for the NBA, and to drive digital growth and innovation for FC Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Leicester City among many others.

In the last year 7L staff have been embedded in the digital operations of the Bundesliga, FA, England Netball, Spurs and The Open.

We have also helped to deliver grassroots campaigns such as UEFA’s groundbreaking social influencer programme, the #WePlayStrong Squad, and the Premier League’s heralded Primary Stars project.

Seven League would like to thank BTSIA for shortlisting us, and we also send congratulations to our fellow nominees.

7L founder and CEO, Richard Ayers, said: "We are honoured to be shortlisted for Agency of the Year by BTSIA. 2017, our fifth year, was a standout year for Seven League, and we are thrilled that our achievements have been recognised. We would like to thank BTSIA, the 7Leaguers, and of course our friends and clients, on behalf of whom we do all of this."
